Samrat Khichi

Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Secretary

Samrat Khichi was named Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Secretary of Catalent Pharma Solutions in October 2007.

Before joining Catalent, Mr. Khichi was Counsel in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Private Equity Group at O’Melveny & Myers LLP. Prior to O’Melveny & Myers, he was appointed by President George W. Bush to serve as a White House Fellow. Prior to the White House Fellowship, Mr. Khichi was an attorney in the Mergers and Acquisitions practice groups of Shearman & Sterling and McDermott Will & Emery. Mr. Khichi also served as the General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer of a software company.

Mr. Khichi has an extensive background in the military, including serving as an active duty field artillery officer in the U.S. Army, and as a reserve Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve, Office of Naval Intelligence. While serving in the N.J. Army National Guard’s Counterdrug Task Force, he was the Deputy Director of the NY/NJ High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area. Mr. Khichi also held a Top Secret security clearance.

Mr. Khichi holds a B.S. from Georgetown University and a J.D. cum laude and Order of the Coif from Fordham University School of Law.
