Matthew Walsh

Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Matthew Walsh was named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Catalent Pharma Solutions in April 2008.

Mr. Walsh has an extensive background in finance and accounting and has served as CFO for several companies across a variety of industries.

He joined Catalent after serving as President and Chief Financial Officer of Escala Group, Inc., a global collectibles network and precious metals trader.

Prior to Escala, Mr. Walsh gained 10 years of financial experience at GenTek, Inc., a diversified industrial manufacturer. From 1996 through 2006, he held positions of increasing responsibility in corporate development, accounting and finance – culminating in his appointment as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of GenTek. Preceding his time at GenTek, Mr. Walsh served in corporate development and other roles in both the banking and chemicals industries.

Mr. Walsh holds a B.S. in chemical engineering and an MBA from Cornell University and is a CFA® charterholder.
